Found a HH w/o log in WV...can you help identify it?

We visited Squirrel's Shepherdstown, WV, boxes today. In the "Dam
Keepers House" box there was a hand-carved hitchhiker in a sandwich
baggie. It is cut from a foam-type material and portrays
a "pedestrian crossing" figure in a diamond shape. A note in the log
said it was left there on 1/2/03 by "Clay Furnace", who brought it
from Cacapon. I have scrolled throught Wanda and Pete's comprehensive
hitchhiker site, but could find nothing that matched. If I don't find
out more about Mr. Pedestrian soon, I will make him a logbook and put
him back on the road. Thanks for any help you can provide!

HI ...that sounds a lot like one of our PokeyMan stamps from Illinois ...  A few have gone missing ... one was foam.   I can't be sure though.  Does it have any other identifable marks?
